Ever since the launch date, Diablo 3 has been a hot shelf item in any game store across the globe. Proof of which is that the game broke sales record and has become the fastest selling pc game.

Within the first 24 hour on the release date of Diablo 3, the title has sold more than 3.5 million copies. By the end of the week, the said amount reached 6.4 million and the said values as stated by Blizzard do not include the digital purchase of the game in Korea Internet gaming kiosks wherein Diablo 3 was the top-rated game in an instant.

To me this is just too obvious. I mean, we waited for years and years and Blizzard teased us right down to the bone-marrow. Of course anyone would want to play it especially with 3 guest passes that have not failed to entice any PC gamer out in the woods.

Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment has a few words to say about the said phenomena.

“We’re definitely thrilled that so many people around the world were excited to pick up their copy of Diablo III and jump in the moment it went live”.

“We also regret that our preparations were not enough to ensure everyone had a seamless experience when they did so. I want to reaffirm our commitment to make sure the millions of Diablo III players out there have a great experience with the game moving forward, and I also want to thank them for their ongoing support.”

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is slated this September and Europe just happens to be blessed with awesome Tekken Goodies by Namco.

Goodies consists of behind the scenes video complete with commentary from the series director Katsuhiro Harada, soundtrack disc, remix soundtrack disc and last but not the least a Tekken Artbook all packed in a metal case!

The said items are considered as Collector’s Edition but will not come with the early access/usage for the upcoming DLC characters : Michelle Chang, Angel, Ancient Ogre and Kunimitsu. The said DLC characters are separated in groups wherein Michelle Chang and Angel can be obtained in ordering the limited edition via Shopto.net while Ancient Ogre and Kunumitsu are with Zavvi.com

More details on the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2 as days progress! Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is set for September 14th 2012 for Europe.

One of the baddest games of the year was finally released a few weeks ago last May 15th worldwide. It is none other than Diablo 3 itself!

Highly and much anticipated by fans. Diablo 3 was met with a successful game launch minus the Error 37, Error 3006, Error 3007 and Error 3003. The game stormed across the globe that acquiring physical copies became an issue. But for those (like me) who were able to obtain the game, we unboxed it, let out the guest pass to those who can’t play the game since they are skeptic and play the game for nearly 24 hours. Some even did 24-48 hour first immense gameplay which was broadcasted live via twitch.tv

We now jump unto the game mechanics, graphics and other stuff. The game is astounding. Given the age of graphical art, Diablo 3 is still immensely beautiful. Sure it may not have some of the great perks of Diablo 2 but the game was still able to stand in its own aesthetics. The diversity of the classes from the all time favorite Barbarian, to the swarm and infestation assault brought upon by the Witch Doctor, to the sacred and devastating strikes of the Monk, with the ever so elaborate yet deadly arcane magic of the Wizard to the elaborate tactics played by the Demon Hunter. The game offers a wide array of tactics that will surely put all players to their mettle to give each and every class a try.

Character progression is very very different but almost similar as to how Guild Wars does it. Difference is that you can change your skills on the fly but be warned that changing them on the fly, some of them may have a cooldown so you may see yourself running from champions, nightmares and/or boss as you wait for your newly loaded skill to become available. Partners in crime also return in the form of the Enhantress (my personal fave), the Templar and the Scoundrel. Though these assistants may not be available for PVP but we are yet to confirm it since the PVP area of the game is a post patch as stated by Blizzard.

The crafting system is a bit tricky as it does not provide you the needed items entirely. Good thing about it is that it is shared across your characters which will save up money in the future and would not destroy future aspect of gameplay if one is to create a new character. Jeweler is also a new part of the game given that the horadric cube is no longer part of the game system. I am yet to do more about the Jeweler so I can’t divulge proper info but seeing what it can do is a bit amazing but still underwhelming. I mean they could have just given us another horadric cube.

Conclusion:

Diablo 3 has been a much and long awaited game that can even break relationships in real life if they don’t tread carefully. The game is nice with a few hiccups here and there with the ‘always-online’ issue but get past that and you’d have yourself countless hours of hellspawn slaying together with your friends wherever they maybe across the globe.

Finally got around doing this review of my latest acquired figma. Limited Edition figma(s) are but a hole driller to anyone’s wallet(s). If one would not acquire it, the latter acquisition is destined to be more painful compared to the release itself. That said, given that I am a fan of the series “My Little Sister Can’t be this Cute!” (俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない). I acquired a few of the main cast and more importantly my favorite character in the show, Kuroneko. This time, its the Kuroneko Kamineko Ver. which can be seen in the Light Novel Version of the said title.

The figure sure is nice although problem still struck the said figure. As many Max Factory Figma collectors would note, the issue of Figma’s face-plate is forever haunting it. They say removing the head together with its joint peg is the solution but the problem arises there as well. Removing the peg/joint would end up losing its grip over repeated actions. That said, playing around with facial expression is from limited and close to none.

The accessories were also but limited. Its almost as if Max Factory wants you to thank them for even including a picnic basket which I for one can’t still think of a good way to use that picnic basket aside from a picnic theme shoot or a physically abusive representation of Kuroneko Kamineko using the basket as a weapon.

Another would be that there are two chest/torso plate(s) for this figma. I don’t quite get why are there two of it. I checked it physically and there has not been much of a difference all except for bust size but still. Why Max Factory?

One last thing which I find it the most awkward of all the figma(s) that i’ve bought was the stand. The stand does not let Kuroneko land to the ground. She’s just floating. I do get the idea of it being an angelic theme but geez the whiz Max Factory. It was as if the sizing of it was wrong. What I do love however is the mask-plate. Rarely do I get a figure with a mask-plate and I’m a bit of a fan of “Mask(s)” itself.

Overall, Max Factory’s Kuroneko Kamineko Ver. is a must get for me since I love the character Kuroneko but if you are not a fan of the series, I do suggest passing out on this little figure. If you are then this is a must get! Not sure anymore of the availability given that this one is a Dengeki Exclusive.

Like what is posted in the title, the said DLCs now have a date but sadly they are to face a very tough competition. Final Fantasy XIII-2′s vast DLC release will be on May 15th which is the same time as when Diablo 3 will open its gates.
